Having established itself as one of Asia’s leading contemporary dance festivals, International Modern Dance Festival(Modafe) has been putting an effort in exploring new artistic forms that transcend genre distinction and cultivating the spirit of experimentation. The dance pieces presented by Modafe 2005 go beyond the existing borders of genre, expanding their boundary into fine art, film, architecture and theatre. From May 22nd to June 7th, this year’s edition will be a battleground of future art, swirling with the top-notch artists’ passion for dance, who imagine tomorrow’s civilization through dance.
